I got this bike a week ago and it is incredible a huge change from what I had before. The guy's at the [...] store helped me out alot they spend the time to explain everything about the bike from the frame to the tires and everything in between a fantastic group. This was my first big bike, I went to other stores but I highly recommend this one for quality service and great info on whatever you need.

bought it in christmas after getting tired of poor [@] quality mongoose bikes. If you really plan to use it, it is definitely worth the jump in quality for a very reasonably price. Components are not space age, but are very good quality, and that translates in an efficient and smooth ride. You can ride on road for many miles without feeling tired at all. I'm not giving it the 5 stars here just because the front Alex rim came with a minor imperfection that had to be removed. Other than that, extremely happy with the decision of buying a specialized bike

I'm 61 years old and 250 lbs. I got into cycling this year to help remove some of the excess me. Pulled a 30 yr old [...]10 speed out of the attic and put 300 miles on it before it gave out. After researching I bought this bike and love it. It's light weight, fast and fun to ride. It has plenty of gears to flatten out the hills that I couldn't get up before. I've had the bike 5 days and put 45 miles on it. This is a great bike at a reasonable price.

I got this bike to use as exercise on days I don't run; I wanted something fast yet comfortable. I really enjoy riding it, its light, comfortable (somewhat upright) and I love the way it looks. It doesn't have suspension so rough roads can be jarring, but on smooth roads the miles just fly by. I rode this bike for 2 hours and had NO soreness or stiffness. My next bike will a Specialized.

I bought this bike after having a Diamondback Miravista that I liked a lot, but the frame was a little too small for me. So I was looking for a fitness style bike with good components, like the 700c wheels, easy fire shifters, aluminum frame, and needed the heavy duty wheels. so it was between the Trek 7.2 and this one. I rode them both and the Specialized was a better fit for me. I'm sure the Trek would have been a great bike too, but what can I say...I liked the RED, and the shape of the frame was cool too. I haven't had this bike long enough to comment on the durability, but its looks solid enough...We'll see!

I got this as a first time bike in several years to start riding to work(About 8 Miles). So far the bike is great. It reacts and hadles well. The only bad thing is how hard the seat is especially if you are a big guy which I am. But a seat cover fixes that up real quick.

            Comments:

I've had this bike for almost 4 years now and it's great. It's smooth to ride and very durable. It's never needed anything other than a minor tune up. Extremely light for its price, I'm 100lbs and have no problems carrying it up and down stairs. It has large wheels that are pretty thin and goes fast with minimal effort. A few minor cons, the seat is on the narrow side and not that comfortable. While great on paved roads, you can feel every bump on bad roads. The brake wires run along the frame and are not covered, so you have to be careful how you hold the frame. The biggest downside is that the frame is not linear in any way. This along with the brake wire placement makes it practically impossible to mount any accessories. I can't mount a U lock mount, no kickstand, no spoiler. Even just a bell and lights took a lot of creative thinking. If you're okay carrying everything in a backpack, this is not a problem. Overall, it's great for the casual, recreational riders and it gets you where you need to go fast. But not great for off road or as a work horse, if you need to carry a lot of stuff.
